39. tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:

you never own anything. not your spouse, not your child, not your money, not your job, not your talent, not your parents, not your house, cars, macbook pros, blackfuckingberries, cigarettes.
(yeah actually the only thing that really yours, is, memories.)
so for you smart & rich people, don’t spoil yourselves by feeling super. and for you who’s penniless & thinks life is shitty, don’t torture yourselves by feeling bad about yourself. just do your best and things can turn the other way around, like zap!, in seconds. believe me, they always can. that’s how life works.
well i mean it’s okay if you work your ass off for money to pay bills and maybe pay your dignity or luxury, just don’t act surprise when you lose everything, they will leave you anyway in a matter of time. you earn them but they’re given to be yours so it’s a fair play.


‘cause, listen to me: don’t take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive anyway. just make sure that people will remember you as a good person once you’re out.
