Un:Cut

i met him again, in the island. he is thinner than ever, i can see his muscles and the veins traced in his skin. came to my thought that no matter how silly i am sometimes to feel an emotion so destructing every time i think of him; he is a friend, he is a man of good quality, so he is my friend.
i didn't know what to say that night. we were crossing each other in the path end from my hotel alley to the beach, people were raving or playing fire ring or eating grilled corn or yeah shagging each other down the water. he sat there with his thai fellow and then stood up once he notices that i'm there.
he came towards me slowly and gave me that "hey, you," look. "wow," he said.
"hey,"
"you really look like a woman now," and he stared me.
i didn't know how to react so i just smiled.
"you have changed. wow." he smiled too.
"no i never changed,"
"how come you never look like this when i asked you to?"
"look like what? you mean, the hair?"
he nodded. "long hair and dress and ..."
"you never asked me to!"
"yes. i begged you not to cut your hair,"
"but you said it was owwkaayyy,"
"it was okay." :)
i smiled again. he's still the same man i used to know.
we took a stroll afterwards.
he said, "do you remember the last time you cut your hair and i really wish that you can grow your hair soon?"
"i guess. yeah,"
he stopped for a while, stared at my hair until i feel really awkward. "you know, that god, ... god always answers our wishes. maybe not when we asked for it, but eventually, god will answer." he didn't stop looking at my hair.
i didn't say anything. i didn't know how to react, to be exact.
then he said, "what a great man gerry is. and a lucky one too.
i wish i was the one who made you grow your hair."
