24.3.11

Teach me
through symbols that relate to me alone
that drink my fears and leave me bare
to wild winds that howl through black and endless space.
Enter me
through portals of cave-like knowing;
through ancient crevices in my mind
where savage hands left exquisite prints
long before I entered the picture.
Tell me of secrets lost in time.
Small things that are covered by quarelling thoughts
foolishly debating about pure meaning
like parents fighting near an innocent child
burried by their noise.
Tell me of things I already know
far away, in some other lifetime
distantly perceived through key-holes of incomprehensiveness
that keep my mind in pensive
like a shy deer, blinded by lights.
Find me before I start searching.
Find me in those moments
when flocks of curious first-impressions gather around you
like schools of fish
tasting the flavour of foreign life for the very first time.
Through these holes in the back of my mind
I sense something huge that makes my heart race.
No longer should I need to search
when the gateways to comprehension are painted so clear.
If only I knew them.
If only I could worm my way through, open myself
to their sealed realms of knowledge
and decipher the signals only I can receive.
If only I could read the alphabet of souls
flung from mind to mind
like stars share each others light.
